Topic: Setting the Password of a File A file that is password protected can only be downloaded by those who
know the password to the file. On upload, you can password protect a
file by filling in
a password into the field below the file selection field. Alternatively, an
already uploaded file can be password protected through the file info popup box.
Simply click the link at the bottom of the popup box ('Set Password'), and a field
will appear in which you may input a password.
Please note:
- Passwords are limited to 1024 characters.
- Password protected files can only be downloaded from Host-A directly (not
from a mirror server).
- When you turn off password protection, the upload date of the file will reset to the
current time.
- The download counter/bandwidth bug has finally been fixed.
